Antique 19th-Century Samson Chinese Export Porcelain Table Lamps

$2,500.00
A pair of antique, 19th-century Chinese Export Porcelain lamps by Samson, hand-painted with traditional 18th-century famille rose floral sprigs, and with the gold gilt border typical of Samson in the 19th century. Fluted, narrow baluster shape with faux ginger jar lids; that, and the holes at the base indicate these were originally intended as lamps. These have been rewired (working); the gold wood bases possibly date to this time. One lamp has a painted-over missing piece at the back. 4" wide by 12.5" to the top of the porcelain, 15.5" to the top of the socket, and 24" to the top of the finial.
