An antique Staffordshire figurine of a Turk or man dressed "a la turquoise" in a white coat gold details and red trim with pointed black shoes, striped pants, a blue over garment, orange belt, green top, and brown turban with a crescent moon; holding something yellow in one hand and what looks to be a flower (chipped leaves) in the other, all in the orientalist, Turkish trend of the mid-19th century. Expected age crazing, especially on the back; wear to the green and gilt. Open mold slip cast. 2.5"x1.75"x5".
