An antique, Victorian, c. 1860s-1870s Aesthetic Era lidded water pitcher, with a swan knob to the lid, faux-bois handle, covered spout, and chased engraving throughout. Double walled to keep the cold in and contain condensation. The stamp on the base reads: Reed & Barton, Double Wall, Patented by J. A. Stimpson 1864 extended by 7 years. 10ʺW × 7ʺD × 12.5ʺH. Dent, damage to the base, and wear and patina to the plate, all as shown.
