Antique Chinese Export Porcelain Nesting Bowls

$550.00

A pair of matching antique Chinese Export Porcelain bowls. I've seen this style as 17th- or 18th-century Kangxi Period (or the Qing Dynasty) for the Dutch Market. The traces of gilt suggest a possible later date. Heavily potted porcelain with the blue underglaze and red rust of the Imari color scheme, featuring painted enamel scrolls with blossoming trees. Blue underglaze scrollwork on the sides. The smaller is 6.25" by 2.5"; the larger is 8.5" by 3.25". The smaller bowl has a rim chip, as shown. Some wear to the gilt throughout, and to the tree of the larger bowl.
