An antique Italian glass paperweight, featuring a "reverse-painted" print scene of the high-Gothic Milan Cathedral during the mid-nineteenth century. Wear as shown to the design and to the glass (small chip bottom left). 3 3/4" by 2 1/2" by 1". Items such as these were brought back by nineteenth-century tourists on their "Grand Tours" of Europe.
