Lover's Eye miniature paintings were popular in the late 18th and early 19th centuries (Georgian and Regency periods), and were frequently incorporated in rings and lockets. This is a collection of larger, modern paintings in oil on vintage chinoiserie blue and white transferware plates in the Blue Willow pattern. 4 are 5 3/5", one is 6.25". Loops on the back for hanging.
