An antique, mid-19th-century, c. 1850 English Victorian papier mache (paper mache) and mother of pearl and abalone flowers tea caddy box, with black lacquer and gold gilt details. 6ʺW × 6ʺD × 5.5ʺH. Significant wear. The lid is disconnected and missing one side, with cracks along the edges; old repairs to the back side top of the box, loss to the two back corners at the base.
