No. 1022 Theodore & Theobald the Treacle Staffordshire Spaniels and Their Portraits

An antique, c. 1850s pair of Victorian English Staffordshire spaniel dogs, in a very rare caramel treacle glaze, 4.5"x2.5"x5.75". Their portraits are painted in oils with a pale pink brown background and deep green base, and framed in a contemporary beveled and arched gold frame with stand back and hardware for hanging. 7.25"x9.25".
