THE PAINTINGS: This collection features imaginary heroines from the Spanish royal court of Velasquez, and combines these elements of history and art history with a contemporary graphic and sculptural (but slightly ghostly) interpretation of the outrageous but perfectly balanced silhouettes of 17th-century fashion.
