THE ORNAMENTS: I've painted these plaques of my favorite heroines and heroes to bring a little good cheer and literary delight into my own surroundings this holiday season, in defiance of what is turning out to be a particularly challenging series of family events. If I don't have time to lose myself completely in a good book, at least I can look the way of these portraits and enjoy a brief escape into their bookish worlds! I thought I'd make them available in case you like them too, and I'll paint them especially, so please allow for variations since each will be based on the painting shown but unique to itself.
