No. 312 Augustus the Tiger - Lamp Finial

Augustus the Tiger likes reading very serious works of literature that no one else he knows has ever read, playing soccer, and strawberry lemonade. He does not like missing the previews at the movies.

Augustus is an original, one-of-a-kind sculpture who peeks out over your favorite lampshade and reminds you to look at the light in your life. This menagerie of lamp finials was born during an especially difficult year for me, when everything big was daunting and only the smallest of things (a good cup of tea, a good historical romance, a delightfully silly ceramics project) were able to bring moments of happiness. 

Lamp finial: hand-made start to finish in delicate porcelain, with stain and underglaze coloring, and fitted with inset bronzed hardware standard for most lamps. Each measures about 2.75" wide and about 2.5"-2.75" high.
