No. 71 Lover's Eye Jewelry Dish - Ouroboros

An original, one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic jewelry dish fashioned after the Georgian Era Lover's Eye jewelry miniatures found in museums and private collections. Also serviceable as a small coffee table catchall tray or what the French call a "vide-poche" ("empty-the-pockets"). This dish is in an ouroboros snake shape; the ouroboros is the snake eating its tail, an ancient symbol of infinity and eternal love, popular with the Victorians, 6.5" x 4".
